Para nós brasileiros, ou melhor catarinenses, ou melhor ainda, Joinvilenses, a História do Italo-Disco começa aqui. Claro que no resto do mundo o ritmo já estava bombando nos selos originais Italianos como Disco Magic, Time Records, fazia um bom tempo, mas eis que aqui em Joinville, nos confins do universo so conheciamos a ZYX Records em meados dos anos 80, atravéz do saudoso Valdir Polzin, que nos colocava a par deste maravilho mundo da música européia, que até hoje nos tira o sono...hehehe

The Best Of Italo Disco, lançado em 1983 deu luz à expressão: "Italo Disco" como viria a ser conhecido mundialmente esse ritmo contagiante, predominando neste volume uma herança do final dos anos 70, com muito electro, space-disco e vocoder.

Na década de 80 acreditávamos que conheciamos muita coisa de Italo e Euro Disco, mas na verdade a gente conhecia apenas a ponta do iceberg. Os anos 90 foram um tanto obscuros para os colecionadores deste estilo no Brasil, o dolar nas alturas, importadores como Valdir Polzin e Reverson Barbosa, falecidos, outros colecionadores, guardando as raridades a sete chaves, deixamos de conhecer muita coisa.., e ficamos resumidos ao nosso mundinho "The Best Of Italo Disco". Mas eis que em 1997 a internet toma conta do pais, em 1998/99 conhecemos o Audiogalaxy onde podiamos baixar centenas de MP3, então percebi o quão pequeno era o nosso conhecimento..., e por umas destas baixadas conheci esta musica...Enjoy ;)
